Lottery app Jackpocket, a division of DraftKings Inc., announced a new partnership with Barstool Sports today. 

The announcement extends the multi-year collaboration between DraftKings and Barstool Sports, revealed shortly after the Super Bowl last February. Barstool had earlier terminated its partnership with Penn Entertainment. 

Expanding on Previous DraftKings Agreement 

Jackpocket is named the "Official and Exclusive Digital Lottery Partner of Barstool Sports." 

Barstool is recognized for its humorous sports material shared across various platforms, such as social media, podcasts, videos, and live events. The brand engages more than 265 million individuals on social media channels, spearheaded by figures such as Barstool creator Dave Portnoy. 

In a comment regarding the Jackpocket agreement, Portnoy noted: "It’s well-known that we’re allied with DraftKings, and now we’re thrilled to incorporate Jackpocket into the equation." Our connection focuses on ensuring that our fans can easily participate in the action, regardless of their location.

DraftKings' Purchase of Jackpocket 

In May, DraftKings Inc. revealed that it had finalized the acquisition of Jackpocket Inc., a $750 million cash and stock transaction initially disclosed in February. 

The acquisition allowed DraftKings to enter the U.S. lottery sector, enhancing its stance in the sportsbook and igaming areas by increasing customer value, utilizing proven cross-sell abilities, and strengthening customer acquisition efforts. 

Live Streaming Event to Launch Partnership 

Supporters of Barstool Sports will notice the Jackpocket brand integrated throughout all areas of the Barstool platforms. Right from the start, Barstool Sports’ Jersey Jerry and the Jerry After Dark crew will collaborate with Jackpocket to locate one victorious ticket among thousands in an event this evening (9 p.m.). (EST) which will be broadcast live. 

Jackpocket’s content will be featured alongside figures such as Big Cat & PFT from the well-known sports podcast Pardon My Take, as well as Wallo & Gillie from Million Dollaz Worth of Game. 

Jackpocket will introduce fresh content, activations, and chances to win cash as well as Jackpocket credits for Barstool fans. 

Integration with Barstool Personalities
